OSU-Texas Football Game Selected For TBS Saturday Night
October 23, 2006 | Cowboy Football
On Monday, the Big 12 Conference announced television plans for Nov. 4 with OSU and Texas scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff in Austin with TBS in tow.
The Cowboys and Longhorns staged an entertaining game on TBS last season. OSU jumped to a 28-12 halftime lead in Stillwater lead before the eventual national champions rallied for a 47-28 victory.
Two years ago in Austin, once again in front of the TBS cameras, Oklahoma State dominated the first half against the Longhorns and took at 35-14 lead at the break, only to see Texas rally past the Cowboys in the second half.
The Texas game will mark OSU's fourth televised contest of the season. The Cowboys played at Arkansas State on ESPNU and faced Houston on College Sports Television. OSU and Nebraska meet this weekend on ABC. That game kicks off at 2:35 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.
