Cowboy Basketball Participates in Big 12 Media Day

The afternoon began with a brief lunch before Coach Sutton sat down with ESPN's Andy Katz for a lengthy on-camera interview. While Sutton was answering questions with the on-line columnist, the players were busy granting interview requests with Triple Play Sports out of Stillwater and the Sports Animal in Oklahoma City.
Other media entities that served up questions during the one-on-one session included Fox Sports Southwest/Big 12 Showcase and ESPN Plus/ESPNU.
At 2 o'clock, the Oklahoma State contingent joined five other schools in the group interview session which lasted approximately one hour. All the local media types were present, as well as journalists from all across the Big 12 region. Steve Wieberg of USA Today and others from around the country also converged on Oklahoma City for today's event.
The day ended as Coach Sutton took the stage for a 15-minute Q&A session with the general media. A transcript of the session is available at the link above.
All in all it was a positive experience for the Cowboys who will visit OKC on two more occasions this season. First for the O'Reilly All-College Classic on Dec. 21 and then next March for the Big 12 Championships.
