Cowboys withdraw from regional qualifier

Due to injuries and illness, Oklahoma State's men's tennis team announced Friday that it has withdrawn from with the ITA Central Region Team Indoor Championship.
Coach James Wadley said it is unfortunate the 24th-ranked Cowboys will not be able to participate in the weekend event, which will be held at the University of Tulsa.
“As much as we wanted to compete, we have to look out for the health and safety of our players — especially with such a long season ahead of us,” Wadley said.
The Cowboys now have to wait until Feb. 3 to begin the season, when they will face Memphis in Tulsa at 6:30 p.m.
