Luke Byler

2001-03 (Junior College): Byler played two seasons for coaches Earl Diddle and Jan Handley at Pratt Community College. He was named team captain his sophomore year, and averaged six points and four rebounds per game. He was recruited by Kansas Newman, Bethany and Northwest Missouri State coming out of Pratt, but elected to come to Oklahoma State as an equipment manager.
High School: Byler lettered four years at Wellington High School. He was selected team captain his senior year. He was named first-team all-conference and honorable mention All-State for Class 4A. Byler averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per game his senior season. Byler also played four years of golf in high school, and his team was back-to-back runners-up at the state tournament.
Personal: Born May 2, 1983, Luke is the son of Tom & Marsha Byler and Grant & Sherry Anderson. He has an older brother, Ben, and a younger sister, Dani. His father, Tom, played basketball at Kansas Newman. Luke loves to play golf, and also enjoys spending time with friends and family. He was a manager for the Cowboy Basketball program the past two seasons, and considers himself a huge OSU Basketball fan.
