Oklahoma State Selected to Host NCAA Tennis Regional

The Cowboys earned an at-large bid after finishing the season with a 21-6 record and an appearance in the Big 12 Tournament final. This is the team's third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.
OSU's first round opponent will be Southwest Missouri State. The Bears (13-7) received an automatic bid after defeating Indiana State in the final of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. They are led by former Cowboy and top singles player Jiri Spousta, who played one year at OSU before transferring after the 2003 season.
The other first round match pits South Carolina against Oklahoma. The 19th-ranked Gamecocks were an at-large selection with an 18-9 record and a fourth-place finish in the Southeastern Conference.
Oklahoma earned an at-large berth after finishing in a tie for fifth in the Big 12. The Sooners boast a 15-6 overall record, and are ranked 51st nationally.
The second round will be played on Sunday, May 15.
