Cowgirl Golfers tied for 13th at NCAA Championships

OSU junior Karin Sjodin rebounded from a tough day Wednesday to shoot an even-par 71 during Thursday's third round. She moved up to a tie for 12th place, seven strokes behind individual leader Anna Grzebien of Duke.
The top-ranked Blue Devils finished the round with the only sub-par round of the tournament so far. As a team, Duke carded a six-under-par 278 and now sits atop the leaderboard, eight strokes ahead of second-place
Cowgirl senior Annie Thurman-Young finished strong on Thursday, recording a two-over 73 and improving her standings on the individual leaderboard to 25th place. Sophomore Mallorie Underwood shot a 77 and is in 61st place with a 228, while fellow sophomore Candie Herrera carded a 78 and is tied for 84th with a 232. Sophomore Ali Griffin finished with a 79 and has a three-round total of 242.
The tournament will conclude on Friday with 18 holes.
