Kuharic, Diaz Receive Academic Honors

Oklahoma State's Boris Kuharic and Felipe Diaz were named to the Academic All-Big 12 men's tennis second team, it was announced by the conference Tuesday.

Kuharic is a senior studying international business. The Koprivnica, Croatia, native has compiled a 17-3 singles record this spring playing mostly at the No. 3 position.

Diaz, a junior from Bogota, Colombia, is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. He has played to a 10-12 mark this spring at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, and pairs with Kuharic to form the 47th-ranked doubles tandem in the country.

Second team selections had to maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and participate in at least 60 percent of the team's matches.
