| ESPN'S OSU WEEKEND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
FRIDAY, MARCH 4TH: ESPN2's COLD PIZZA • LOCATION: Inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. • TIME: Broadcasting live segments from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. • INFO: Fans can view the live segments from inside Gallagher-Iba on ESPN2. ESPNU LAUNCH • LOCATION: Outside Gallagher-Iba Arena by the Spirit Rider statue off of Hall of Fame. • TIME: Live broadcast from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. • ADMISSION: Free to the public. • INFO: Fans are encouraged to arrive early and show their support during this special launch of ESPN's new all-college network ESPNU. PEP RALLY & 3 DOORS DOWN CONCERT • LOCATION: Inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. • TIME: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. • ADMISSION: Free to the public. General admission seating so arrive early for the best seats. There is a possibility of reaching capacity before the start of the concert. • INFO: The pep rally starts at 7:00 p.m. with the OSU band, cheerleaders, Pistol Pete scheduled to attend. There will be an introduction of the team with Coach Eddie Sutton scheduled to speak. 3 Doors Down is scheduled to perform at 8:00 p.m. and will play for approximately 30-45 minutes. Portions of the pep rally and concert will be broadcast on ESPN2. SATURDAY, MARCH 5TH: ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY • LOCATION: Outside Gallagher-Iba Arena by the Spirit Rider statue off of Hall of Fame. • TIME: Live segments broadcast at 9:00 a.m. for a lead-in during Sportscenter, 10:00 a.m., 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. • ADMISSION: Free to the public. • INFO: ESPN's College Gameday crew will broadcast outside of Gallagher-Iba during three segments. The traveling roadshow will judge the OSU crowd on noise and creativity and compare it with the other stops of College Gameday. GO POKES!!! |
