An excellent recruiter, Williams is in charge of the day-to-day recruiting responsibilities, as well as on-the-floor coaching.
Prior to her arrival in Stillwater, Williams worked as an assistant under former Cowgirl assistant coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair at Texas-San Antonio. While at UTSA, Williams played a key role in all facets of the program including recruiting, conditioning and academics.
Prior to her stint with the Roadrunners, Williams worked as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where she served from January of 1999 until the summer of 2000.
As a student-athlete at Nebraska, Williams was a four-year letterwinner from 1994-98 under coaches Angela Beck and Paul Sanderford. She was an Academic All-Big 12 selection in 1997 and 1998 and was also named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in 1996 and 1997.
The Spearfish, South, Dakota native received her masters degree in sports administration from UNK in 2002 after earning her bachelor of science degree in biology and mathematics from Nebraska in 1998.
The former Amy Gusso is married to Lloyd Williams, who is currently serving as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Texas-San Antonio.
Her parents, Tim and Kathy, still reside in Spearfish, S.D. She has two brothers, T.J. and Dominic, her sister, Emilee, competed as a member of the Nebraska-Kearney squad and is currently a graduate assistant with the South Dakota State program.
