Men's Tennis to Take on Wake Forest

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will take on its fifth ranked opponent in a row when they play No. 27 Wake Forest at 2 p.m. Sunday in a match that has been moved to Tulsa due to possible inclement weather.

The 20th-ranked Cowboys (7-2) are coming off a 2-1 finish at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors, where they defeated No. 7 Stanford and No. 31 Harvard.

The team recorded a number of impressive individual victories at the tournament, including senior Mark Van Elden's win over 14th-ranked Luben Pampoulov of UCLA, and senior Boris Kuharic and junior Felipe Diaz recording an 8-4 decision over Harvard's No. 5 doubles team.

Wake Forest enters the match undefeated at 6-0, including a 4-3 win over 14th-ranked Virginia Commonwealth. The Demon Deacons have three players in the ITA rankings. Andrew Hamar and Todd Paul are ranked 70th and 71st, respectively, while Brett Ross is 77th.

Oklahoma State won the only previous meeting between the schools, 6-3 in 1981.
