STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Tiffany Jackson had 25 points and 10 rebounds to help No. 13 Texas beat Oklahoma State 79-46 on Saturday night.
Jackson scored 11 points during an 18-1 run that made it 64-28, and the Longhorns (17-7, 10-3) were well on their way to an 11th straight win against the Cowgirls.
The 6-foot-3 sophomore started the run with a three-point play _ her fourth of the game _ and added two free throws, a turnaround jumper, a scoop basket from around her hips and a fast-break layup as the Cowgirls (7-16, 2-11) went more than 8 minutes without a field goal.
Daria Mieloszynska made a 3-pointer from the left wing, and Kala Bowers added a basket to finish the run.
By the time Catherria Turner and Taleesha Conder hit back-to-back 3-pointers to end the Cowgirls' drought, Jackson was calmly seated on the bench for the rest of the night.
With the win, the Longhorns remained a game behind conference-leader Baylor, which beat 19th-ranked Iowa State 82-77 earlier Saturday.
After a 1-2 start in league play, the Longhorns have won nine of their last 10 Big 12 games _ including four in a row.
Conder scored 16 points to lead Oklahoma State, which has lost its last three games by at least 25 points.
Jackson had a trio of three-point plays during a 16-4 run that put Texas ahead 26-10 midway through the first half. The first came after a basket in transition, the second after an offensive rebound putback and the third off a score underneath the goal.
The Longhorns followed that run with an 11-2 spurt that included two baskets by Annissa Hastings and a 3-pointer by Jamie Carey to go up 37-14.
Oklahoma State closed the first half with a 7-2 run and trailed 44-25 at halftime. Texas scored 21 points off the Cowgirls' 14 first-half turnovers.
