Cowboy Basketball predicted fourth in Big 12 Conference

Oklahoma State was predicted to finish fourth in the preseason poll. The Cowboys received 84 points, five fewer than third-place Kansas. The Oklahoma Sooners garnered two first-place votes and 112 points, good for second.
Texas Tech, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Missouri rounded out the top-eight teams. Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas State and Baylor finished off the league squads.
The Big 12 season gets underway on Thurs., Nov. 10, as the Texas Tech Red Raiders host San Jose State in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Oklahoma State opens the season on Fri., Nov. 18, as the Cowboys host Texas-Arlington.
