The 2005 Cowboys have three players and one doubles team in the preseason rankings. Senior Mark Van Elden leads the way with a No. 44 national ranking, while Tomas Bohunicky and Boris Kuharic are ranked 115th and 117th, respectively. The doubles team of Kuharic and Felipe Diaz used a successful fall to catapult themselves to the No. 40 spot in the national rankings.
