Two Cowboy Netters in Finals at Texas Fall Invitational

Diaz will square off against Milan Mihailovic of Texas in the finals of the Singles A-1 Consolation bracket. Diaz defeated a pair of Longhorns on his way to the championship match, defeating Garrett Snyder, 5-7, 6-4, 10-2, in the quarters, and besting Hubert Codkiewicz, 6-4, 6-3, in the semis.
Kuharic is matched up against Tulsa's Alek Charpanditis in the Singles A-2 Consolation final. Kuharic received a bye in the quarters before beating Alex Ortega of Laredo Community College, 6-4, 6-1.
In open singles competition, Tomas Bohunicky advanced to the quarter finals before falling to Travis Helgeson of Texas, 6-2, 6-2. He defeated Oscar Roman of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 6-3, 6-3, and teammate Felipe Diaz, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, before losing to Helgeson.
In doubles play, Bohunicky teamed with Artsem Burmsitrau to advance to the quarter finals before falling to Alek Charpanditis and Achim Roth of Tulsa, 8-5.
Diaz and Kuharic will play in their championship matches Sunday afternoon.
