Chris Milliron Takes Over Oral Roberts Tennis Program

Milliron has been an assistant coach under James Wadley the last two years at OSU and enjoyed some success with the program. The Cowboys made a Sweet 16 appearance in 2003 and followed that up with its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance in those two years.
Milliron was named the Region V Assistant Coach of the Year for his efforts during the 2004 campaign.
“I have learned a lot under Coach (James) Wadley the last two years,” Milliron said. “He has helped me get into this position, and I am excited about having the opportunity to run my own program.”
Milliron is taking over a program that won a combined six duals last season between the men and women. The men's team went 6-13 and bowed out in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, while the women's team went 0-7.
“It is going to be a challenge, but I think Oral Roberts is a place where you can be successful,” Milliron added.
