Van Elden to Face TCU's Alex Menichini

TULSA, Okla.- Oklahoma State junior Mark Van Elden drew TCU senior Alex Menichini in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championships to begin tomorrow at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.

Menichini is a southpaw and compiled a record of 6-12 and earned a national ranking of No. 48. He has been ranked as high as No. 22 this season and boasts a win over 13th-ranked Lester Cook of Texas A&M.

Van Elden has compiled a record of 19-3 this season and is currently ranked No. 24.

The match is slated to begin at approximately 10:30 a.m.
