Cowboy Netters Drop Conference Opener to Texas

Mark Van Elden and Tomas Bohunicky each beat ranked opponents to stay unbeaten and move to 11-0 on the season, but it was not enough as the Pokes fell to 9-2 on the season and 0-1 in Big 12 Conference action.
Texas took advantage of the doubles' point to secure the win and inprove to 3-0 in conference matches and 11-6 overall.
Boris Kuharic had his 10 match win streak snapped by Texas' Jimmy Haney 6-4, 6-2.
The Cowboys travel to Houston, Texas to take on the unbeaten and sixth-ranked Rice Owls tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m.
