Mark Van Elden, Tomas Bohunicky and Boris Kuharic all won in straight sets to extend their individual winning streaks to 10 consecutive matches.
Yevgen Bondarchuk, the lone Cowboy senior, snapped a six game losing streak by defeating Purdue's Troy Havens 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5).
Daniel Byrnes and and Juan Felipe Diaz won at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, respectively to give the Cowboys the last two singles' points.
In doubles, Bondarchuk and Kuharic needed a tiebreaker to beat Havens and David Robinson at the No. 1 slot. Van Elden and Byrnes secured the doubles' point by beating Sounak Chatterjee and Filip Koziell 8-4.
Colin Foster and Paul Rose won the only match for the Boilermakers beating Diaz and Bohunicky 8-4 at the No. 3 position.
The Cowboys will open up conference play against No. 28-ranked Texas at 1 p.m. in Austin, Texas on. Mar. 27.
