The Cowboys, who fell to No. 44 in the latest ITA poll released today, won the doubles' point and then went on to win five of the six singles' matches to take care of the Utes.
Mark Van Elden remained undefeated after defeating Roeland Brateanu 6-2, 6-1. Tomas Bohunicky played the No. 2 position for the first time this season and beat Miron Mann 6-3, 6-4. Boris Kuharic also won at the No. 4 position to keep his perfect record intact.
Daniel Byrnes needed a third set tiebreaker to beat Nick Coutts and Juan Felipe Diaz picked up the final point beating Ryan Scott in straight sets.
