Cowgirl Golfers Finish Sixth At Lady Gator Invitational

Freshman Mallory Underwood was the most consistent Cowgirl over the three-day tournament, shooting rounds of 79-75-75 for a three-day total of 229, good enough for 14th place individually. Freshman Candy Herrera, who has only played in one collegiate tournament at OSU, finished 16th with a three-round total of 231.
Both Ashley Knoll and Karin Sjödin rebounded from a difficult first two days, carding a 76 and a 73, respectively to finish in a tie for 22nd place. Junior Annie Thurman shot a 76 during Tuesday's round as well, and finished tied for 26th iwth a 234.
The Cowgirls will return to action on March 26 as they compete in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga.
