Sooners Roll Past Cowgirls, 78-44

Caton Hill scored 18 points in the first half and Maria Villaroel finished with 22 points, leading No. 23 Oklahoma to a 78-44 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Dionnah Jackson scored 12 points for the Sooners (19-7, 9-6 Big 12), who won their 11th straight game in the series. Oklahoma beat the Cowgirls 87-37 on Jan. 17 in Norman.
Nina Stone scored 14 points for Oklahoma State (8-18, 3-12), which shot just 27 percent and lost its eighth straight. The Cowgirls finished with 16 turnovers and 14 field goals.
The Sooners closed the first half with a 25-6 run, taking a 44-23 lead into the break. Oklahoma extended its lead to as many as 40 points in the second half.
The Sooners held Big 12 scoring leader Trisha Skibbe to eight points, more than 11 points below her average.
Oklahoma shot 48 percent and outrebounded Oklahoma State 44-30.
