Cowboy Tennis Defeats Dartmouth in the Season Opener

TULSA, Okla. (OSU Athletics ) Â Oklahoma State's 20th ranked men's tennis team opened the season with a 6-1 victory this morning over Dartmouth College at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla..
The Cowboys swept the six singles matches, but gave the doubles point to Dartmouth.
Mark Van Elden dispatched Neal Bobba, Dartmouth's top singles' player, in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
Yevgen Bondarchuk handled Drew Dinkmeyer 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 2 position.
Tomas Bohunicky and Boris kuharic also handled their opponents in straight sets defeating Mark Brodie and Andrés Reyes, respectively.
Daniel Byrnes needed a tiebreaker to beat Borko Kereshi and Juan Felipe Diaz also used a third set to defeat David Waslen.
The Cowboys will return to Tulsa on Feb. 13 to face Hampton before they open their home schedule against Drake on Feb. 14.
