Cowboy Tennis Prepares for First Test

STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State's No. 22-ranked men's tennis will travel to California to face two ranked opponents. The Cowboys will take on No. 59-ranked Oregon on Saturday at 1 p.m. and will follow it up with a Sunday match against host UC Santa Barbara at 1 p.m. at the UCSB Tennis Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The Pokes look to keep their perfect record in tact against an Oregon team whose only loss came against No. 33-ranked Boise State and are currently 6-1 on the season. The Gauchos are currently 3-4 with all four of their losses coming against ranked competition.
Mark Van Elden, the top singles' player for OSU, is currently 3-0 and will face his frist ranked opponent this season when he faces No. 98 Alex Anselme from UCSB. OSU has also gotten strong performances from Yevgen Bondarchuk, Tomas Bohunicky and Boris Kuharic who are all 3-0 at this point in the season.
