• Frans Steyn replaced his career best in points tonight, set last game vs. Northwestern State with nine, with 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting from the floor and five free throws.
• Ivan McFarlin started his 100th career game for Oklahoma State tonight. OSU’s record when he starts is 77-23.
• With 22 points vs. Arkansas-Little Rock, John Lucas now has 10 20-point games in his career at Oklahoma State.
• Oklahoma State extended its homecourt winning streak to 18 games with the win over UALR. The Cowboys have also won their last 36 games at home vs. non-conference opponents.
• OSU’s six turnovers are the fewest by a Cowboy squad since March 24, 2000, when Oklahoma State had six turnovers against Seton Hall in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
• The Cowboys’ 48.1 percent shooting from the free-throw line was the lowest by OSU since the Kansas State game last season, when the Pokes shot just 6-of-15 from the charity stripe, or 40 percent. It was also the first time Oklahoma State shot below 50 percent from the line since that game vs. the Wildcats, a span of 23 games.
