Frans Steyn replaced his career best in points tonight, set last game vs. Northwestern State with nine, with 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting from the floor and five free throws.
Ivan McFarlin started his 100th career game for Oklahoma State tonight. OSUs record when he starts is 77-23.
With 22 points vs. Arkansas-Little Rock, John Lucas now has 10 20-point games in his career at Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma State extended its homecourt winning streak to 18 games with the win over UALR. The Cowboys have also won their last 36 games at home vs. non-conference opponents.
OSUs six turnovers are the fewest by a Cowboy squad since March 24, 2000, when Oklahoma State had six turnovers against Seton Hall in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
The Cowboys 48.1 percent shooting from the free-throw line was the lowest by OSU since the Kansas State game last season, when the Pokes shot just 6-of-15 from the charity stripe, or 40 percent. It was also the first time Oklahoma State shot below 50 percent from the line since that game vs. the Wildcats, a span of 23 games.
