Cowboys defeat Global Sports, 80-63

Graham scored 12 of his 18 points in the first half as the Cowboys built up a 19 point halftime lead. OSU shot 57.1 percent in the first half, including 6-of-10 from three-point range, and forced 11 turnovers by Global Sports.
The second half was a different story, however, as the visiting team actually outscored the Pokes, 34-32, in the second stanza. Despite shooting just 37.5 percent in the period, Global Sports became more aggressive and went to the free throw line 14 times, connecting on nine of those.
John Lucas was one assist away from a double-double with 15 points and nine dishes. He only had two turnovers in 37 minutes of play. Freshman JamesOn Curry also scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. Ivan McFarlin aded eight points and eight rebounds to the final boxscore.
Oklahoma State led by as many as 28 points on three occasions in the second period, and it appeared as if the Cowboys would run away with the game. However, Global Sports, led by Chris Jeffries 14 poitns off the bench, outscored OSU, 15-4, over the final 4:45 for the final score.
Oklahoma State will host Northwestern State of Louisiana on Friday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
