Cowgirls to Conclude Fall Tournament Schedule

OSU will be competing against individuals from 24 other schools, seven of which were ranked in last year's final ITA poll.
“This is going to be a tough tournament for us,” head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski said. “We have had a good fall so far and are going to try to continue to have that success.”
The Cowgirls have tallied three individual titles and one doubles title in their previous two fall tournaments. The six active memebers of the squad have tallied 27 individual victories so far this season.
Leading the way for Oklahoma State will be sophomore Lauren Simmons and freshman Iryna Tkachenko. Simmons and Tkachenko have matching 6-1 individual records.
“This will be an interesting test for our team,” Lubicz-Majewski said. “We are used to playing outside in bad weather. Hopefully being inside for this tournament will allow us to concentrate and play some good tennis.”
Qualifying rounds begin at 9 a.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
