Cowboy Netters Set for Regional Tournament

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla., this weekend to compete in the ITA Central Regional at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Cowboys will send four players into the singles bracket, all of whom are seeded. Mark Van Elden, the nation's 13th-ranked player, drew the top seed in the tournament. Tomas Bohunicky and Boris Kuharic are seeded third and fourth, respectively, while Felipe Diaz is 16th. The two finalists in singles play advance to the ITA Indoor Nationals in November.

The Pokes are also fielding two doubles teams. Kuharic and Diaz are seeded fourth, and the duo of Bohunicky and Artsem Burmistrau is also competing. The doubles winner will advance to the national tournament.

Main bracket play in both singles and doubles begins Friday morning.
