Two Cowboy Netters Advance to Quarterfinals

Bohunicky received a bye in the first round of Flight A singles, and then defeated Missouri's Marten Tamla, 6-4, 6-3, to advance to the quarterfinals. He will face Andrie Nicoara of Arkansas Saturday with a semifinal berth on the line.
Felipe Diaz breezed through his first match of the day, defeating Chris Welnetz of Saint Louis in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. In the round of 16, he beat Guillermo Gomez of Iowa State, 6-3, 6-1, to set up a quarterfinal showdown with Southwest Missouri State's Jiri Spousta. Diaz will play Bohunicky in the semifinals should they both advance.
Boris Kuharic was the third Cowboy in Flight A singles competition. He dropped his first match to Alex Bucewicz of Missouri, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (10-4).
In Flight B action, Artsem Burmistrau defeated Missouri's Bryan Bankster, 6-0, 6-2.
