Cowboy Tennis Players Ranked

STILLWATER, Okla. (OSU Athletics Mark Van Elden is ranked No. 32 in the preseason and is the highest ranked Cowboy since Pavel Kudrnac was ranked No. 1 in 1998. Van Elden went 14-5 last year as the Cowboys' No. 1 singles player and finished the season No. 56. Yevgen Bondarchuk is ranked No. 55 in the ITA preseaon rankings. Bondarchuk went 14-8 last season, primarily as the Cowboys' No. 2 singles player. He finished the season ranked 90th in the country. The Cowboy tennis team will open the fall season at the Polo Tennis NCAA Preview in Tulsa, Okla., on Sept. 26.
