OSU-Kansas Men's Basketball Game Time Changed

STILLWATER, Okla. - The men's basketball game between Oklahoma State and Kansas will tip off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 1, instead of the previously announced 2:30 p.m., the OSU athletics department announced today.

The move was made to accommodate a national television opportunity on ABC. The game will mark ABC's first broadcast from Gallagher-Iba Arena since 1993, when the network covered the March 7 KU-OSU game.

Like the 1993 game, this year's contest will close out the regular season for each team, and it matches the Big 12's only two currently ranked squads. Kansas is No. 3 in the latest Associated Press poll, and OSU is 25th, earning its first national ranking in three years.

The Cowboys are in action Wednesday night when they visit Missouri as OSU head coach Eddie Sutton tries to pick up the 600th victory of his coaching career.
