Women's Basketball Prepares for Postseason

Oklahoma States Cowgirl basketball team will host the Rice Owls in the first round of the Womens National Invitational Tournament on Sunday, Mar. 15. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Tickets are available now through the OSU Ticket Office. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for OSU students and youth. All tickets will be general admission. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

OSU (19-10 overall) is coming off a third-place finish at the Big 12 Conference Tournament in Kansas City, Mo. The Cowgirls defeated Missouri and Nebraska before falling to eventual-champion Texas Tech in the semifinals.

Rice (21-8 overall) is coming off a runnerup finish at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.

Following is a bracket of the tournament. Should the Cowgirls defeat Rice, OSU will play the winner of the Baylor-Mississippi State game on Tuesday, Mar. 17. Site of that game will be determined following the first-round game.
