Crow, a junior from Corn, Okla., was named a District 6 Academic All-American last week, putting her on the ballot for All-America honors. She joins Texas A&M junior Kera Alexander as the only two Big 12 players named to the team.
Purdue's Stephanie White-McCarty was named the Academic All-American of the Year by GTE, while Lisa Baswell of Jacksonville State, Marshall's Kristina Behnfeldi, Susie Erpelding of San Diego and Chari Nordgaard of Wisconsin-Green Bay were also named to the first team. Other second-team members were Amy Kieckbusch of Ball State, Toledo's Kim Knuth and Amy O'Brien of Holy Cross.
Crow averaged 17.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game this season, and became the all-time leader in Oklahoma State history in three-pointers made with 141 career treys. She also became the 14th player in school history to record 1,000 points in a career, as she currently has 1,165, ranking her ninth on the career scoring charts. Jennifer is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 first-team selection, and was named third-team All-Big 12 this season.
