HALTERMAN'S 300TH WIN - Oklahoma State's 80-66 win over Texas A&M was a milestone in Halterman's career. It was his 300th victory at OSU, moving him into an elite group. Only six coaches in the history of Oklahoma State athletics have reached that mark: Mr. Henry Iba (men's basketball), Toby Greene (baseball), Gary Ward (baseball), Sandy Fischer (softball) and James Wadley (men's tennis). Halterman also became the sixth coach in the Big 12 to reach that mark, and the fourth to reach it at his current school. Only Marian Washington (KU), Ceal Barry (CU), Jody Conradt (UT) and Marsha Sharp (TTU) have won that many games with their current team.
HALTERMAN'S 500TH GAME - Oklahoma State's game vs. Nebraska was the 500th in Halterman's career at OSU. He is 300-202 in 17 seasons with the Cowgirls. He has an all-time record of 549-236, including stints at Wheeling High School and Moberly Junior College.
CROW FINISHES UP FINE CAREER - Jennifer Crow is in her final postseason in a Cowgirl uniform, and has moved up several OSU career statistical charts. She became the 14th player in school history to record 1,000 points in a career, and she currently ranks second on the all-time points scored list with 1,768. With 17 points vs. OU last week, Jennifer surpassed Lisa McGill for second. She already holds the school record for three-pointers made (210) and attempted (568) in a career. Jennifer was named third-team All-Big 12 last season, and was honored as a second-team Academic All-American her junior year. She ranks seventh in career scoring average at 15.5 ppg, fifth in free-throw percentage at 82.4 percent, and fifth in three-point shooting at 37.0 percent. Another interesting note: Jennifer is just the third Cowgirl to ever average double-figure scoring in all four years of her career.
