Roberts connected on 9-of-15 shots to lead the Cowgirls. Freshman center Devon Magness added 11 points for OSU while Jennifer Crow contributed nine. The Bonnies' Hilary Waltman led the game with 23 points.
OSU led, 15-8, after the first quarter, but the lead was cut to four at halftime as the Cowgirls only led, 31-27. Roberts scored 10 of her 18 points in the first half, but the Cowgirls shot just 7-of-12 from the free-throw line. St. Bonaventure, meanwhile, connected on 9-of-12 shots from the line, including 6- of-7 from Waltman.
The Cowgirls trailed, 4-2, at the 8:33 mark of the first quarter, but went ahead, 6-4, with 5:20 left and never trailed again. OSU outscored St. Bonaventure, 16-6, in the third quarter.
Oklahoma State (2-1) will travel to Dallas, Texas, Dec. 5-6, to compete in the Southwestern Bell/Cotton Bowl Classic, hosted by Southern Methodist University. The Cowgirls will play New Mexico State at 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the first round.
