Cowgirls Dominate RoadRunners, 63-34

Roberts was 5-of-9 from the field, but a dismal 5-of-11 from the free throw line, as the senior All-Big 12 member led the Cowgirl offense. Crow was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line and added six rebounds.
OSU led by as many as 29 on a jumper by Roberts at the 3:56 mark of the second half. The rout started with a 14-2 run over a span of eight minutes midway through the first half. The Cowgirls shot 57.9 percent from the field in the first half.
New Mexico State (2-3), known for its three-point shooting, was just 1-of-13 from the three-point arc as Oklahoma State gave up very few good looks at the goal from outside. The Runners were held 25 percent below their season average of 32.5 percent.
Oklahoma State's offense inlcuded several fast-break points and a 13-5 margin in second-chance points. OSU, which forced 24 turnovers, had 23 of its own and outscored NMSU in points off turnovers, 21-14.
Oklahoma State (3-1) will play the winner of the SMU-Arizona State game on Saturday at noon. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Southwest.
