OSU Trio Lands All Big 12 Honors

No. 1 singles player Mark Van Elden was named to the elite squad along with teammates Yevgen Bondarchuk and Jiri Jezek. Van Elden and Jezek also earned recognition on the All Big 12 Doubles team.
Oklahoma State’s 25th-ranked men’s tennis team lost to Baylor in the finals of the recently completed Big 12 Championships and will compete in the first round of the NCAA Championships next week in Minneapolis.
Van Elden is a freshman from Sydney, Australia while Jezek is a junior from Pribam, Czech Republic and Bondarchuk and junior from Kiev, Ukraine. The trio helped lead OSU to a 16-4 season record and upset wins over Texas A&M, Texas and Rice.
