Prep: Sarah lettered four years at Edmond Memorial and served as team captain her senior year. In four years, she posted a 114-27 record and fanned 1,121 batters. She also threw 49 shutouts, 13 no-hitters and five perfect games. Sarah had a personal-best 407 strikeouts in one season.
At the plate, Sarah had a .269 batting average with 114 hits and 78 runs batted in. She also had 27 doubles, three triples and one home run.
Sarah was recognized for her play with numerous honors including being a three-time Edmond Player-of-the-Year selection and the All-Big City Player-of-the-Year. Sarah also was named to the all-conference and all-state squads.
Sarah led her team to four regional championships and four appearances at the state tournament with a state runner-up finish her senior season.
She played for the Oklahoma Twisters summer league team coached by Bob Johnsten. Sarah led the Twisters to a USSSA World Championship title and was the tournament MVP.
Personally: Born April 6, 1984, Sarah is the daughter of Jack and Marqueeta Seagraves. She has two brothers, John (21) and James (14). Sarah enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going to the lake and is a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church. She is undecided on her major at Oklahoma State.
