Oklahoma State Knocked Off By No. 24 Oklahoma

Theresa Schuknecht scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, leading No. 24 Oklahoma to an 87-71 victory over Oklahoma State on Sunday.

The Sooners (14-8, 5-4 Big 12) ended their first three-game losing streak since the 1998-99 season. Oklahoma State (5-15, 1-8) lost its sixth in a row and has now lost eight straight to its instate rival.

Chelsi Welch scored 17 points, and Maria Villarroel and Dionnah Jackson had 11 each. The Sooners shot 53 percent and took better care of the ball than in recent games, committing 14 turnovers.

Trisha Skibbe scored 23 to lead the Cowgirls. Shelby Hutchins had 12 and Chantoya Hawkins 11.
