Cowgirl Basketball Announces Schedule For 2002-03 Season

For the Cowgirls, the upcoming season marks their first under the direction of head coach Julie Goodenough.
They will begin play against in-state rivals Oral Roberts and Tulsa on Nov. 22 and 23, respectively, at the Bertha Teague Classic before opening the home portion of their schedule against Wichita State on Nov. 26.
Trips to Cancun, Mexico for the Fun in the Sun Shootout, Tempe, Ariz., for the Arizona State Holiday Classic and East Lansing, Mich., to take on Michigan State highlight the non-conference road schedule.
OSU will battle Arkansas on Jan. 2 at Gallagher-Iba Arena in the non-conference finale before a trip to Austin on Jan. 8 to take on the Texas Longhorns in the Cowgirls' Big 12 opener.
A pair of games, Jan. 18 at Texas Tech and March 1 against Oklahoma in the regular-season home finale, will televised by Fox Sports Net.
OSU is coming off a 16-15 record and an eighth-place finish in the Big 12 last season.
