OSU steals win from Northwestern State, 65-52

The Cowboys had 18 steals - Victor Williams grabbed seven along with 12 points - and held NSU to under 39 percent shooting from the field.
OSU (5-1) led 12-10 with 11:27 to play in the first half, but went on a 20-7 run over the next seven minutes, capping the rally with a Sanders' dunk that made it 32-17 with 4:27 left in the frame.
NSU managed only seven points in the first 11:42 of the second half, allowing OSU to open a 28-point lead. Sanders' three with 8:34 to play in the game made it 58-30.
Ivan McFarlin scored 13 for the Cowboys before fouling out with 8:18 to play.
Byron Mitchell narrowly missed out on a double-double for winless NSU (0-5), leading all scorers with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Williams' three with less than a minute to play in the first half gave OSU a 44-23 lead at the intermission.
