Cowgirl golfers finish ninth at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

Duke won the team title by 29 strokes, outscoring second-place Georgia with an 872. Georgia shot 901, while Florida finished third with a 903. Tulsa finished fourth with a 905, while Texas and Kent State shot a 907 and finished tied for fifth.
The Oklahoma State duo of Annie Thurman and Christi Cano tied for 23rd place with a three-round score of 228. Senior Linda Wessberg tied for 36th with a 231, while freshman Karin Sjödin carded a three day total of 245.
The Cowgirls will return to action March 24 when they compete in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas.
