Men's Netters Prepare for Drake

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will host Drake on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the DeBois Tennis Center. The Cowboys will enter contest with a record of 3-0 and it will mark the first home match this season.
The Cowboys are on a roll starting the season with a record of 3-0 with all three matches being won 7-0. OSU has won every singles match in straight sets.
With only one letter winner returning from last year's squad the Cowboys have welcomed six talented newcomers to the team who are making an immediate impact.
Leading the way for the Cowboys is team captain and lone returning starter Jiri Jezek. The Pribram, Czech Republic native has compiled a 3-0 record this season at the No. 4 and 5 singles positions.
Preseason All-Big 12 nominee Yevgen Bondarchuk will enter Saturday's match with a 3-0 record at the No. 1 and 2 positions. Bondarchuk is also 3-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot teaming up with freshman Jiri Spousta, who is also 3-0 in singles play.
Sophomore Mark Van Elden is 2-0 at the No. 1 singles position and No. 3 doubles spot. Van Elden is a talented player who transferred from the University of Auburn this year.
Also contributing to the team are newcomers Boris Kuharic, Tomas Bohunicky and Juan Felipe Diaz.
Kuharic has played strong at the No. 3 singles spot winning all three matches in straight sets. The Koprivnica, Croatia native has teamed up with Felipe Diaz at the No. 2 doubles position to compile a 3-0 record.
Bohunicky has earned a 2-0 record at the No. 4 singles position and a 1-0 record at the No. 2 singles spot.
The match will mark the first of two straight home matches for the Cowboys, who will host conference opponent Nebraska on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m.
