Oklahoma State will travel to Lawrence, Kan., this weekend for a Saturday game with the Kansas Jayhawks. Tipoff on Saturday is set for noon. OSU is 20-6 overall and 9-4 in Big 12 Conference action after a disappointing 62-57 loss to Texas Tech in Stillwater on Monday night. Kansas is 21-6 overall, 11-2 in league play and coming off an 85-45 win over Texas A&M in Lawrence on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma State is ranked 16th in the Associated Press poll and 17th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' poll. The Cowboys are ranked 11th in the Ratings Percentage Index according to Collegiate Basketball News. Kansas is ranked seventh in both the AP and Coaches' poll. The Jayhawks are ranked No. 15 in the RPI.
On Television
Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on ABC. Brent Musburger will handle the play-by-play duties, while Dick Vitale will provide expert analysis. Other games on ABC at that time are Georgia Tech at North Carolina and Syracuse at Georgetown.
Last Time Out For OSU
Oklahoma State held Texas Tech to just 18 points in the first period, but Andre Emmett and Kasib Powell combined for 37 in the second half as the Red Raiders handed the Cowboys their second home loss of the season, 62-57, in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Andre Williams had a big night for OSU, grabbing 16 rebounds and blocking five shots, but the senior forward fouled out with 5:34 remaining in the game. Melvin Sanders, Tony Allen and Victor Williams combined for 40 points, but could not overcome the 30 by Emmett and 17 by Powell. OSU limited Tech to just 29 percent shooting in the first half, but allowed 53.6 percent in the second stanza. Meanwhile, the Pokes struggled offensively after intermission, scoring just 28 points to Texas Tech's 44. Vic Williams also had five assists and just one turnover, but was just 2-of-12 from the floor. He and Sanders were a combined 3-of-13 from beyond the three-point arc. The Cowboys were also outrebounded, 41-36, and committed 15 turnovers.
About Kansas
Kansas is 21-6 overall this season, 11-2 in Big 12 Conference action and sitting atop the league standings. The Jayhawks are 14-1 at home, with their lone loss coming against Arizona. KU is led by senior forward Nick Collison, who is averaging 18.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest. Another senior, guard Kirk Hinrich, is averaging 18.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest, while Keith Langford is chipping in 15.4 points per game. Kansas' only two conference losses came at Colorado (the Buffs are 6-0 at home in league play) and at Oklahoma.
Last time out for the Jayhawks
Kansas had four players score in double figures and Texas A&M had not one player with more than nine points as the Jayhawks drubbed the Aggies, 85-45, Wednesday night in Lawrence. Kirk Hinrich led the scoring attack with 23 points, while Nick Collison added 15 points and 12 rebounds. Aaron Miles had a double-double of his own with 10 points and 10 assists. KU shot 52.4 percent from the floor while limiting A&M to just 26.2 percent. The `Hawks also outrebounded the Aggies, 52-37.
Series with the Jayhawks: KU leads, 96-49
Kansas leads the all-time series with Oklahoma State, 96-49, including a 51-10 mark in Lawrence. KU has won the last two meetings, and 10 of the last 12. OSU's last win in Lawrence was Feb. 8, 1989, when the Cowboys defeated the `Hawks, 87-81. Coach Eddie Sutton is 7-16 vs. Kansas since his return to Oklahoma State, and KU is 7-2 vs. OSU since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97. Both Cowboy wins came in 2000, with OSU picking up an 86-53 victory in Stillwater, and then winning, 77-58, in Kansas City a month later in the Big 12 Tournament. Last time vs. Kansas
Fredrik J?nz?n had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, but the Cowboys could not overcome the trio of Drew Gooden, Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich as they combined for 46 points and the Jayhawks defeated Oklahoma State, 79-61, last season in Stillwater. OSU shot just 35.6 percent from the floor and 2-of-12 from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, KU shot 53.6 percent from the field and 5-of-11 from long range. Victor Williams added 12 points for OSU, but no other Cowboy had more than six points.
