Ivan McFarlin, named the Big 12 Conference's Player of the Week earlier in the day, scored a game-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor and 5-of-6 shooting from the line. He also had four blocked shots and two steals in 23 minutes.
John Lucas scored 15 points, dished out seven assists and had no turnovers for the Cowboys. Janavor Weatherspoon had 13 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe. Tony Allen scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds for OSU, while Joey Graham and Daniel Bobik scored 10 points each.
Oklahoma State trailed early by three points just two minutes into the contest. But, a three-pointer by Lucas put OSU ahead for good just 45 seconds later. The Cowboys' largest margin in the first period came at intermission when OSU took a 46-27 lead into the lockerroom.
OSU's largest lead came with just 47 seconds left in the game when Weatherspoon scored a layup to put OSU ahead by 38. Ray Castillo, who scored a team-high 15 points, all on treys, hit a shot from long range with 16 seconds remaining.
Oklahoma State (7-1) will take off a few days for the holidays before returning to practice on Dec. 26. OSU's next game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 30, as the Pokes host Samford at 7:05 p.m.
