High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for coach Fred Griffin at Brownsboro High ... was selected as a team captain for both her junior and senior seasons ... averaged 15 points, four steals and six assists as a senior ... was named to the district all-newcomer squad ... was an all-county selection as well, earning MVP honors ... was a first-team All-East Texas pick ... was tabbed as a TGCA All-Star ... selected as a BCI All-American ... led BHS to a 33-5 record and a regional runner-up finish ... averaged 13 points, five steals and seven assists for Team Texas in AAU and BCI play ... also ran track for two years ... was a district champ in the 100-meter run and a regional qualifier in the 100 and 200-meter events.
