Oklahoma State Basketball to host annual Basketball Bash
October 13, 2003 | Cowboy Basketball
The Bash will be part of a full schedule of activities focused around OSU's Homecoming, one of the largest homecoming events in the country. The Homecoming Parade, which will feature former Cowboy All-American Bryant 'Big Country' Reeves as the parade marshall, begins at 9 a.m. and runs along Main Street in Stillwater.
With the parade ending at the corner of Main St. and Hall of Fame Avenue, fans will then be able to stroll over to the OSU Athletics Center to catch a glimpse of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball teams in their first action of the season. The Bash will last approximately one hour to allow fans to line Hester Street for the Walk prior to the football game.
The Bash will feature a slam dunk competition and a three-point shooting contest, followed by a 15 minute intrasquad scrimmage by the men and a 15 minute intrasquad scrimmage by the women.
Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for OSU students and youth 18 years of age and younger. Tickets will be available starting Tuesday morning at the OSU Athletics Ticket Office in the Athletics Center.
