Krepelka Falls in Second Round of NCAA Tournament

Oklahoma State senior Fran Krepelka fell to Texas A&M's Ryan Newport, 6-7(10), 6-3,6-2, in the second round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship on Thursday at College Station, Texas.

Krepelka finishes the spring season with a record of 16-4. He defeated Mississippi's Alex Hartman, 6-1, 7-5, in the first round of the tournament.

Senior Matt Prentice and Krepelka fell to Juan Cerda and Jason Pongsrikul of San Diego, 7-5, 6-7(6), 6-4, in the first round of the Doubles Championship on Thursday.

The duo finishes the season with an overall record of 14-6.
