Men's Netters Earn Academic All-Big 12

The Big 12 Conference placed three members of Oklahoma State's men's tennis team on the Academic All-Big Team on Tuesday.
Senior Fran Krepelka finds himself on the First Team Academic All-Big 12 Team for the second straight year. The Kosice, Slovakia native is carrying a double major in computer science and mathematics. Krepelka was also named the 2002 OSU Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Junior Jiri Jezek also has been selected to the First Team for the second consecutive year. The Pribram, Czech Republic native is majoring in computer science.
Senior Matt Prentice has been placed on the Second Team Academic All-Big 12 for the first time in his career. The Wellington, New Zealand native is majoring in international business.
Each member is nominated by their institution's director of student-athlete support services and the media relations offices. Each student athlete must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and participate in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
