Men's Tennis Falls To No. 12 Texas

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team fell to No. 12 ranked Texas, 6-1, on Wednesday at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin, Texas. The loss drops the cowboys to 10-6 (2-3 Big 12) on the season.
The Cowboys trailed early after dropping all three doubles matches to the Longhorns.
Seniors Matt Prentice and Fran Krepelka came up short to Rodrigo and Jose Zarhi, 9-8(7) at No. 1 singles.
OSU never got on track as they lost five of six singles matches.
Krepelka was able to bounce back in singles play defeating Rodrigo Echagaray in straight sets at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-4.
Prentice was outlasted at No. 1 singles by Jean Simon in a three set match, 7-6(2), 3-6, 7-5.
The Cowboys will return to action Thursday when they travel to Texas A&M.
