Men's Netters Defeat Ragin' Cajuns

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team (6-2) defeated Louisiana at Lafayette, 4-1, on Friday in Houston at the Rice Invitational.
The Cowboys took a quick 1-0 lead after winning two of three doubles matches.
Seniors Matt Prentice and Fran Krepelka defeated Johann van der Westhuizen and Michael Tarkowski at the No. 1 singles position, 8-3.
The doubles point was clinched when junior Jiri Jezek and freshman Angel Diankov defeated Anthony Blache and Marc Castellan, 8-4, at the No. 2 singles spot.
OSU carried its strong play into the singles matches, winning three of four matches that were completed. All three Cowboy victories were won in straight sets.
Krepelka defeated Blache at the No. 2 singles spot, 6-4, 6-0. Jezek beat van der Westhuizen at the No. 3 singles position, 6-2, 6-3.
The fourth point was won at the No. 4 singles position by Diankov. The Sofia, Bulgaria native defeated Castellan, 6-2, 6-2.
The Cowboys will continue play in the Rice Invitational on Saturday.
